Introduction to the Office:
As per the decision of the Government of Lumbini Province (Cabinet of Ministers) dated 2078/08/16 to establish an office to reduce the negative effects of climate change and increase the productivity of the land through the protection of water resources and land by adopting adaptation and disaster risk reduction measures under the Ministry of Forest,Environment and Soil Conservation. Soil and Watershed Management Office was established on 2078/11/13 at Arghakhanchi, Sandhikharka.
